FTAN CONGRATULATES TARABA STATE GOVERNOR ELECT, INAUGURATES STATE CHAPTER FTAN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.

The President of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria, FTAN, Mr. Nkereuwem Onung, congratulates the governor-elect of Taraba State, Lt. Col. Agbu Kefas (Rtd). In his message, Mr. Nkereuwem affirmed that the victory in the election is remarkable because it confirms that the people of Taraba understand that the foundation laid by the current administration needs to be sustained. It can only take an astute grassroots politician with experience to achieve that.

He assured the governor-elect that the stakeholders in the tourism industry through the apex body, the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria, FTAN, is ready to work with him to make Taraba State a State to be reckoned with when it comes to the issue of Tourism.

In order to align with the operations of the incoming government and foster collaborations, FTAN inaugurated the Executive Committee of the Taraba State Chapter of FTAN. In his inaugural speech, the President tasked the newly inaugurated executives to develop a strong working relationship with other tourism stakeholders in the State. He encouraged them to collaborate and partner with every relevant government agency to develop tourism in the State.

The Vice President North East, Hh. Igwe Patrick Anyanwu, President of the Nigeria Hotel Association, congratulated the new executives and assured them of collaborations with other North Eastern States of the Zone. Before conducting the oath-taking.
