FTAN APPOINTS AMINU AGOHA AS NEW AG. BOT CHAIRMAN AS DANTATA BOWS OUT


The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN), at its Governing Council Meeting held on March 30 in Abuja, unanimously nominated Alhaji Aminu Agoha as the Acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), the apex body of the federation.

The position was previously held by Alhaji Munzali Dantata, Managing Director of All States Travels and Tours, who has completed his constitutionally mandated eight-year tenure.

Alhaji Aminu Agoha is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Vista Travels, based in the ancient city of Kano. A seasoned industry professional, he previously served as President of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA) for four years and currently holds the position of Chairman of its Board of Trustees.

In his acceptance remarks, Alhaji Agoha expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and pledged his full support to the FTAN President, particularly in advancing the Tourism Transformation Mandate (TTM).
